If you are having a difficult time creating a plan for your social media, then start by signing up for our 30 days of Instagram Bakery Content here. This is a plan to help you develop your content for the entire month on Instagram.
Ugh… have you been beating your head against a wall trying to figure out how you are supposed to manage all these social media accounts? I mean Facebook suggests posting 2-3 times a day with at least 6-8 hours in between because a post live is 6-8 hours, but Twitter suggests you post 10-15 times a day because a tweet life is only a few seconds long. That doesn’t even take into account Pinterest or IG.
If you are like us and SUCK at taking pictures then you know how intimidating the thought of IG and Pinterest can be. 😳😳😳
We all use social media and most of us have a love-hate relationship with social media. However, the minute you make the switch from using social media as a social platform and focus ways to market your bakery business. It gets real… real confusing.
That is why we created our Bakery BS 101: Bakery Social Media [LINK] to help you stop struggling with what to do on social media for your bakery and how to manage and do social media for your bakery.
Another one of our favorite ideas is creating a pop-up shop. Start by networking with other local businesses that would benefit well from having you host a pop-up shop. Think of women’s boutiques, photographers, coffee shops, or another business in town.
Once you find a business to partner with, then you will need to contact the local city hall to inquire about business permits. Lastly, make sure to contact the local health department to determine if you need anything specific for your temporary shop.
Your local Chamber of Commerce is a great place to start the networking process. Join the Chamber of Commerce and start going to the events. You want to try to find a Chamber of Commerce that is pretty active in the community.
