What makes them keto friendly?
All items are made with flour alternatives making them low carb and made with alternative sugars. We work hard to add ingredients based on their net carb counts. Net carb counts are determined by taking the total carbs; subtract out the fiber; subtract out the sugar alcohol to determine the net carbs.
What makes them diabetic friendly?
The products are made with low carb ingredients and alternative sugars making them diabetic friendly. We have experimented with many different manufactures and retailers for their alternative sugars and have found some of the best substitutes around. We find that the sugar alternative we use does not have the same after taste that other products can have.
What makes them gluten friendly? What is the difference between gluten friendly and gluten free?
These products are made with gluten free ingredients making them gluten friendly. We are not a certified gluten free kitchen and do use gluten ingredients in our baking. However, we do everything in our power to reduce cross contamination in our kitchen. If you have a severe gluten allergy, please be advised that we share our kitchen with gluten products.
Can I only order from one menu?
No, this menu just has our keto friendly, diabetic friendly, and gluten friendly options listed, but we offer several different dessert options. Take a look at our dessert and pie menu. If you are looking for something specific, then send us an email at ordering@perfectlypastry.com.
Do you have a storefront?
Yes, we do have a retail space. You may pick your order up at 201 N Main St., Waterloo, IL 62298. We are open Tuesday- Saturday from 730am -2pm.
Can I request a customized order?
We never want to say no to a challenge, but there are times when we cannot accommodate your requests. We are so sorry about that. However, reach out to us and let us know what you want. Then we will look at our schedule, products, and recipes to see if we can accommodate your requests. Please email all special requests to ordering@perfectlypastry.com.
How far in advance do I need to place an order?
All customer orders must be placed 7 days in advance. Orders will not be started until payment is received. If payment is not received 7 days prior to the pick up/delivery date, then the order will be canceled. You will receive a cancellation email. If you need the items sooner than 7 days, please contact us ordering@perfectlypastry.com, 636-422-3299, or chat option. We will do what we can to work with you to get the order scheduled.
How do I order?

Do you do catering for weddings, corporate events, or venue events?
Yes, we cater any event. We require a 35% deposit to hold the date. Final payment is required 7 days in advance of pick up or deliver. If the final payment is not received within 7 days of the scheduled pick up/delivery, you will receive an email letting you know your order will be cancelled.
Catering orders can be cancelled prior to the week before pick up/delivery, but the deposit will not be returned. No refunds for cancellations within the 7 days of pick up/delivery for all catering orders.
Do you need a decorated cake for your event?
If so, have you thought about trying our delicious cupcakes instead? Our cupcakes are more than enough to replace a silly cake, but if you are adamant about a cake, then you will have to go elsewhere. Unfortunately, we do not bake cakes at this time. We are looking to expand our services and are working hard to get a chef trained for cake services. Keep checking back for updates on our progress.
Do you do weddings?
